All glass options fitted to doors supplied by The Door Keeper meet Australian Glazing Standards in both security codes and suitability requirements.

All glass fitted to The Door Keeper doors is secured with timber beadings and sealed with a high performance translucent sealant that has superior elasticity, UV resistance and is paintable.

The fitting of glass to timber does not provide a ‘fish tank’ seal. It will however repel all water under normal to heavy conditions. If you are intending on fitting doors or bi-folds in extreme conditions, (for example facing the directions of heavy wind and rain, without the protection of roof or eaves) please inform when ordering so particular care and advice can be given.

Clear Glass

• 4mm to 5mm float glass (toughened safety glass)
• Allows maximum light
• Fading and sun damage can occur
• Does not eliminate glare

Light Grey Glass

• 5mm float glass – toughened safety glass
• Allows a lot of light
• Reduces fading and sun damage
• Reduces glare
• Looks very similar to clear if not side by side

Dark Grey Glass

• 5mm float glass – toughened safety glass
• Reduces direct light
• Avoids fading and sun damage
• Eliminate glare
• Reduces visibility from outside during day
• Can make entrance dark if large overhang

White Frosted Glass

• 4mm – 6mm treated float glass – toughened security glass
• Acid etched surface
• Creates bright area
• Eliminates fading and sun damage
• Eliminates glare
• Eliminates vision – both ways

Enamelite

• Treated float glass, baked enamel paint
• Available for DG04, and DG014 doors and sidelights
• Adds décor appeal to entrance
• Allows considerable light
• Eliminates fading and Sun damage
• Eliminates glare Obscures vision both ways

Desert Sand

• Rolled glass – toughened security glass
• Very heavy texture
• Adds décor appeal to entrance
• Allows considerable light
• Eliminates fading and sun damage
• Eliminates glare
• Eliminates vision both ways

Triple Glass

• Bevelled leadlight panel, vacuum sealed between 2 layers of 4mm toughened safety glass.
• Maximum security
• Adds décor appeal to entrance
• Allows considerable light
• Eliminates fading and sun damage
• Eliminates glare
• Obscures vision both ways

Optiglass and Eco Glass
